How does the EasyLock software work with the EPP/ EPP Client software?

Once EasyLock has been installed on an USB Storage Device, this device can be turned into a Trusted Device level 1 (TD1). The EPP appliance needs to be made aware of this, by setting for the device “Allow Access if TD Level 1”.

Using Trusted Device technology is to make sure that all file transfers on the device will be made through EasyLock software.

In case the EasyLock device has simply “Allow Access” rights, then it can be used like a normal device.
